This Refund and Cancellation Policy explains the conditions under which cancellations, refunds, and payment adjustments are handled.
By purchasing, subscribing to, or using any Dotcom Craft service, you agree to this policy in addition to our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Disclaimer, and Cookie Policy.
1. Scope of This Policy
This policy applies to all services offered by Dotcom Craft, including but not limited to:
- Website development, maintenance, and optimization
- SEO and digital marketing services
- Google Ads, Meta Ads, and other paid advertising campaigns
- Social media content creation and management
- Blog writing, copywriting, and content strategy
- Email marketing and marketing automation
- Guest posting and backlink services
- AI-powered automation services, including AI receptionist tools, chat systems, and AI-based lead generation
2. Upfront Payments and Deposits
To initiate any project or service, an upfront payment is required. Unless otherwise agreed in writing:
- A minimum of 50 percent of the total service fee is required before work begins
- This upfront payment is non-refundable
- The payment covers planning, onboarding, research, configuration, system access, and resource allocation
For certain services, including advertising setup, AI automation configuration, backlink acquisition, or third-party software provisioning, the full payment may be non-refundable once setup or activation has begun.
3. Cancellation by the Client
a. Before Work Begins
If a cancellation request is received before any work has started, a refund may be issued for amounts paid beyond the non-refundable upfront payment.
b. After Work Has Begun
Once work has commenced:
- The upfront payment remains non-refundable
- Charges apply for all work completed up to the cancellation date
- If completed work exceeds the amount already paid, the remaining balance must be settled within 15 days
Work is considered commenced once planning, strategy development, system setup, campaign configuration, content drafting, AI training, or third-party engagement begins.
4. Cancellation by Dotcom Craft
Dotcom Craft reserves the right to suspend or cancel a service due to non-payment, policy violations, technical constraints, or other operational reasons.
If Dotcom Craft cancels a service:
- Payments made beyond the non-refundable upfront amount may be refunded
- Written notice will be provided explaining the reason for cancellation
5. Refund Request Process
All refund or cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to support@dotcomcraft.com.
Approved refunds:
- Are processed within 30 business days
- Are issued to the original payment method used
- Are subject to verification against this policy and applicable service agreements
Transaction fees, currency conversion charges, or gateway costs imposed by third parties may not be refundable.
6. Service-Specific Refund Conditions
a. Website Development and Maintenance
- Refunds beyond the upfront payment are available only if no work has started
- Partial refunds may be considered based on completed milestones
- Costs related to domains, hosting, SSL certificates, plugins, or external services are non-refundable
- AI-enabled website features or automation systems are non-refundable once configuration begins
b. SEO, Advertising, and Digital Campaigns
- No refunds are issued once campaigns, tracking systems, bidding tools, or automation workflows are activated
- Results depend on external platforms and algorithms and are not guaranteed
- Refunds are not issued for performance concerns, ranking changes, or platform updates
c. AI Automation and AI Receptionist Services
- Setup, configuration, prompt development, and system testing fees are non-refundable once initiated
- AI systems rely on third-party platforms and probabilistic models, and accuracy or outcomes are not guaranteed
- Subscription-based services may be canceled before the next billing cycle to avoid future charges
d. Guest Posting and Backlink Services
- Non-refundable once outreach begins or placement is completed
- Search engine indexing and ranking outcomes are not guaranteed
- At our discretion, a future service credit or discount may be offered as a goodwill gesture
e. Content Writing Services
- Non-refundable once content is delivered or approved
- One revision cycle is provided unless otherwise agreed
- If canceled before delivery, a partial refund beyond the upfront payment may be considered
f. Email Marketing and Automation
- Non-refundable once workflows are built, campaigns launched, or lists imported
- Third-party platform charges are non-refundable
g. AI Lead Generation Services
- Non-refundable once data processing, training, or automation activation begins
- Lead quality, volume, or conversion rates are not guaranteed
7. Payments, Fees, and Taxes
- Payments must be made through approved payment methods
- Late payments may result in service suspension
- Interest or late fees may apply where permitted by law
- All prices exclude applicable taxes, duties, or levies
Clients are responsible for all third-party costs incurred on their behalf.
8. No Liability for Performance or Outcomes
Dotcom Craft is not responsible for losses arising from:
- AI-generated or automated outputs
- Advertising platform changes or restrictions
- Third-party service failures or delays
- Business performance, lead quality, or revenue outcomes
All services are provided on an “as available” basis without performance guarantees.
9. Dispute Resolution
Refund or cancellation disputes should be raised by contacting support@dotcomcraft.com. Disputes not resolved informally will be handled in accordance with the dispute resolution provisions in our Terms of Service.
10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This policy is governed by the laws of the Republic of India. Disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the courts located in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, subject to mandatory consumer protections under applicable local laws.
