We understand that circumstances may require service cancellations or refund requests. This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains the terms under which cancellations and refunds are managed for all Dotcom Craft offerings.
By purchasing or subscribing to any service from Dotcom Craft, you agree to this policy, our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Disclaimer.
2. Scope of Policy
This policy applies to all services provided by Dotcom Craft, including but not limited to:
- Website Development & Maintenance
- SEO & Digital Marketing Campaigns
- Google Ads, Meta Ads, and PPC Campaigns
- Social Media Content Creation & Management
- Blog Writing & Content Strategy
- Email Marketing & Automation
- Guest Posting & Backlink Building
- AI-Powered Automation (AI Receptionist, Lead Generation, Chatbots, and Customer Interaction Systems)
3. Non-Refundable Upfront Payment
To ensure mutual commitment and cover initiation costs:
- A 50% non-refundable upfront payment is required before the start of any project or service.
- This deposit covers administrative setup, strategy planning, campaign initiation, or AI system configuration time invested by our team.
In some services (e.g., ad campaign management, AI automation setup, or backlink acquisition), this upfront payment may be 100% non-refundable once third-party costs or automation triggers have been initiated.
4. Cancellation by Client
4.1 Before Work Commences
If you cancel your project before any work has started, you will receive a full refund excluding the non-refundable deposit.
4.2 After Work Commences
Once work begins, refunds are processed as follows:
- Non-Refundable Deposit: The initial 50% remains non-refundable.
- Work Completed: You will be billed proportionally for all work completed up to the cancellation date.
- Outstanding Balance: If completed work exceeds your paid amount, you must clear the remaining dues within 15 days.
This ensures fair compensation for time, resources, and third-party costs already invested.
5. Cancellation by Dotcom Craft
Dotcom Craft reserves the right to cancel a project or service at any time due to unforeseen circumstances, technical issues, policy violations, or non-payment. If we cancel your project:
- You will receive a full refund of any payments made beyond the non-refundable deposit.
- We will provide written notice explaining the reason for cancellation.
6. Refund Process
All refund requests must be made in writing via email to support@dotcomcraft.com. Refunds will:
- Be processed within 30 business days of receiving a verified request.
- Be issued to the original payment method used.
- Be subject to verification of compliance with this policy and Terms of Service.
7. Service-Specific Refund Guidelines
7.1 Website Development & Maintenance
- Full refund (excluding deposit) only if no work has begun.
- Partial refund may be issued proportionate to completion progress.
- Domain, hosting, SSL, or third-party integrations are non-refundable as these are purchased from external vendors.
- For AI-integrated websites or automated chat systems, once configuration begins, refunds are not applicable.
7.2 SEO, Google Ads, Meta Ads & Digital Campaigns
- Once campaigns or AI automations (tracking, bidding, audience learning) have been activated, no refund will be issued.
- Campaign optimization is a progressive process; results depend on algorithms and cannot be guaranteed.
- Refunds are not issued for perceived performance differences, algorithm updates, or ad platform changes.
7.3 AI Automation & AI Receptionist Services
- AI setup, prompt engineering, model integration, and testing fees are non-refundable once initiated.
- Because AI-driven systems (receptionist bots, lead-generation bots, or chat automations) depend on third-party AI APIs and learning algorithms, Dotcom Craft does not guarantee accuracy, behavior consistency, or lead conversion results.
- Any refund request after AI activation will be ineligible due to resource consumption and service usage.
- Subscription-based AI maintenance fees are refundable only if canceled before the billing cycle starts.
7.4 Guest Posting & Backlink Building
- Non-refundable once the placement is live or outreach initiated.
- Indexing on search engines is not guaranteed, as this depends on third-party discretion (e.g., Google, Bing).
- If dissatisfied, a 50% discount may be offered on your next similar-quality placement as a goodwill gesture.
7.5 Content Writing (Blogs, Website Copy, Ad Copy, Social Content)
- Once content is delivered or approved, no refund applies.
- During the review phase, if you are unsatisfied, we offer one revision cycle.
- If canceled before approval, a 50% refund (beyond the deposit) may be issued.
7.6 Email Marketing & Automation
- Once campaigns are configured, automation rules activated, or email lists imported, refunds are not available.
- Email platform costs (e.g., Mailchimp, Brevo, HubSpot) are handled by third parties and remain non-refundable.
7.7 AI Lead Generation
- AI-driven lead generation results depend on multiple factors (market data, client inputs, third-party APIs).
- Refunds cannot be issued for differences in lead quality, conversion rate, or AI performance.
- Once AI pipeline activation or data training begins, payments are non-refundable.
8. Payments, Fees & Late Dues
8.1 Payment Terms
All payments must be made via the approved payment gateways listed on our website or invoice. Late payments may incur an interest of 10% per month or the maximum rate permitted by law.
8.2 Taxes
All fees exclude taxes, levies, or duties. Clients are responsible for paying all applicable taxes under their jurisdiction.
8.3 Third-Party Costs
Any fees paid to third-party vendors (domain registrars, hosting providers, AI API platforms, advertising networks) are non-refundable, regardless of project status.
9. No Liability for AI or Third-Party Performance
Dotcom Craft provides AI-powered tools and marketing automations solely to assist users. We are not liable for:
- Errors, delays, or failures in AI-generated output.
- Inaccurate or incomplete data insights.
- Misuse of automation systems by clients or third parties.
- Any business loss, missed leads, or reputational impact caused by automated decisions.
Clients acknowledge that AI-driven systems operate on probabilistic behavior and outcomes are not guaranteed.
10. Dispute Resolution
If you have any disputes about cancellations or refunds, please contact us at support@dotcomcraft.com. We aim to resolve all issues amicably. If unresolved, disputes will follow the process outlined in our Terms of Service and will be governed by the laws of the Republic of India.
11. Jurisdiction
All legal matters related to this policy are governed by and construed under Indian law. All disputes fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, without prejudice to mandatory protections under local laws in your jurisdiction (USA, Canada, UK, EU, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, or India).
