2. Non-Refundable Upfront Payment

For web development and content creation services, including blog writing, social media management, guest posting, and backlink building, Dotcom Craft requires a 50% non-refundable upfront payment before commencing work on the project. This upfront payment covers the initial costs and time invested in planning and starting the project.

3. Cancellation by Client

3.1 Before Work Commences

If you choose to cancel your order before any work has commenced, you will be eligible for a full refund of any payments made, excluding the 50% non-refundable deposit.

3.2 After Work Commences

If you cancel the project after work has commenced, the following conditions apply:

• Non-Refundable Deposit: The initial 50% deposit is non-refundable.
• Work Completed: You will be responsible for payment for the work completed up to the point of cancellation. This amount will be deducted from any additional payments made beyond the initial deposit.
• Outstanding Balance: If the cost of the work completed exceeds the payments made, you will be invoiced for the outstanding balance, which must be paid within 15 days.

4. Cancellation by Dotcom Craft

Dotcom Craft reserves the right to cancel a project at any time. If we cancel the project, the following conditions apply:

• Full Refund: You will receive a full refund of any payments made beyond the non-refundable deposit.
• Notification: We will provide written notice of the cancellation, explaining the reasons for our decision.

5. Refund Process

All refund requests must be submitted in writing to support@dotcomcraft.com. Refunds will be processed within 30 days of receiving the request and will be issued to the original payment method.

6. Service-Specific Policies

6.1 Guest Posting

Guest posting services are non-refundable once the content is published on the agreed-upon website. This service involves securing placements on high-authority sites, which requires extensive outreach, negotiation, and content creation. Once published, the work is considered complete, and no refunds will be issued. However, Dotcom Craft is committed to client satisfaction and offers a 50% discount on your next guest post on a website with the same Domain Authority (DA) and Domain Rating (DR) if you are not fully satisfied with the initial service.

It is important to note that Dotcom Craft does not guarantee the indexing of guest posts on search engines such as Google and Bing. The decision to index a post lies entirely with the search engines and the guest posting site’s authority. We strive to place content on reputable sites, but the ultimate control over indexing is beyond our reach. This policy ensures that clients understand the inherent limitations of the service.

6.2 Backlink Building

Our backlink-building service, like guest posting, is non-refundable once the backlinks are live on the agreed-upon website. This service involves careful selection of sites, negotiation with webmasters, and securing high-quality backlinks that align with your SEO goals. Given the effort and resources involved, refunds are not offered after the backlink is secured. If you are not satisfied with the service provided, Dotcom Craft will extend a 50% discount on your next backlink order on a site with the same DA and DR as the original placement.

As with guest posting, the indexing of backlinks by search engines such as Google and Bing is not guaranteed. The authority of the site where the backlink is placed and the discretion of the search engine influence whether and when a backlink is indexed. While we aim to provide backlinks on reputable sites, Dotcom Craft cannot control the indexing process, and clients should be aware of this limitation.

6.3 Website Development

Refunds for website development services at Dotcom Craft are handled based on the stage of project completion. If you choose to cancel before any work begins, you will receive a full refund, excluding any non-refundable fees such as domain registration, hosting, and SSL certificates. However, once work has commenced, refunds will be calculated according to the progress made. For example, if 50% of the project is completed, you will be eligible for a refund of 50% of the payment made, minus non-refundable fees.

Domain registration, hosting, and SSL certificates are critical components of a website but are non-refundable under this policy. These services involve third-party providers, and costs are incurred immediately upon purchase. Dotcom Craft is dedicated to client satisfaction and will work closely with you to ensure that the final product meets your expectations. We encourage open communication throughout the development process to minimize the need for cancellations.

6.4 Website Maintenance

Dotcom Craft’s website maintenance services are essential for keeping your site running smoothly and securely. If you decide to cancel your maintenance service before any work has been performed, you will receive a full refund, excluding any non-refundable fees. Once maintenance work has started, refunds will be prorated based on the amount of work completed up to the point of cancellation. This approach ensures that you are only charged for the services rendered.

As with website development, non-refundable fees related to domain registration, hosting, and SSL certificates apply to website maintenance services. These fees cover ongoing costs that are incurred to keep your website operational. Dotcom Craft understands the importance of maintaining a secure and functional website, and we strive to provide timely and effective maintenance services. We encourage clients to communicate their specific needs so that we can tailor our services accordingly and avoid the need for cancellations.

6.5 Blog Writing

Our blog writing service is designed to deliver high-quality, engaging content tailored to your audience. Once a blog post is approved by the client and published, no refunds will be issued. Approval signifies that the client is satisfied with the content and that the work meets their standards. After this point, the service is considered complete, and refunds are not available.

If a client is not satisfied with the content during the approval phase, Dotcom Craft will work with you to revise the content to meet your expectations. Should you choose to cancel the service during this phase, a 50% refund will be issued. This policy ensures that clients have the opportunity to review and approve content before it goes live, reducing the likelihood of dissatisfaction.

6.6 Social Media Content Creation

Social media content creation is a crucial service for building and maintaining your brand’s online presence. Once social media content is approved by the client and posted, no refunds will be offered. Approval of the content indicates that it aligns with your brand’s voice and meets your marketing objectives. After this stage, the service is considered fulfilled, and no further refunds are possible.

During the approval phase, if the client is not satisfied with the social media content, Dotcom Craft will collaborate with you to make necessary adjustments. If you decide to cancel the service at this point, a 50% refund will be issued. This approach ensures that clients have ample opportunity to refine their content before it is shared with their audience, minimizing the need for cancellations and enhancing satisfaction.

7. Payments and Fees

7.1 Service Fees: By purchasing any services from Dotcom Craft, you agree to pay the applicable fees as set forth on our website or in your specific agreement with us. All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.

7.2 Payment Terms: Payments must be made through the designated payment methods on our site. You agree to provide accurate billing information and to keep your payment information up to date.

7.3 Upfront Payments and Refunds: For web development and content creation services, including blog writing, social media management, guest posting, and backlink building, we require a 50% non-refundable upfront payment before starting the project. The remaining balance is due upon completion of the project. This policy ensures commitment from both parties and covers the initial costs incurred by Dotcom Craft.

7.4 Late Payments: Payments are due within the time frames specified in the invoice or contract. Late payments may incur an additional 10% of the total cost per month or the maximum rate permitted by law, whichever is lower. You are responsible for all costs of collection, including reasonable attorney’s fees and court costs, if necessary.

7.5 Taxes: All fees are exclusive of taxes, levies, or duties imposed by taxing authorities. You are responsible for paying any such taxes, levies, or duties applicable to your purchases.

8. Intellectual Property

8.1 Ownership: All content, trademarks, service marks, trade names, logos, and intellectual property rights on our site are owned by or licensed to Dotcom Craft. This includes but is not limited to the design, text, graphics, code, and software. You may not use, reproduce, or distribute any content without our prior written permission.
